Clansman 349 Handheld Radio

Description

The Clansman UK/PRC 349 Handheld Radio is an intra-section level portable VHF FM transceiver. Built by Racal BCC. RF power output is 0.25 watts. Units supplied to the British Army operate in the 37 – 46.975 MHz range, voice (FM) transmission Mode. A high power (2 Watts) output version was also available and any 10 MHz block in the range 30 – 76 MHz could be supplied. Worn in a holster on the chest or back. The PRC349 was added to the Clansman family in 1972
